Please can you ensure you obtain a months supply of any medication from your current practice prior to registering at our practice.
It is with regret that we feel we must bring this to your attention.
Unfortunately, in recent months we have noticed increasing incidences of verbal aggression and disrespect towards staff, both on the phone and at the front doors.
We appreciate how difficult things are at the moment and understand the frustration when the phone lines are so busy. We share and understand this frustration and assure you our staff are working exceptionally hard to provide the best service possible in very difficult circumstances.
Therefore we are now enforcing a Zero Tolerance policy. We will end phone calls for verbal aggression and abuse and will call the police for verbal and physical aggression at the front doors. This behaviour will not be tolerated. All our telephone calls are recorded.
We endeavour to be kind, courteous and respectful of all our patients, and we expect the same treatment in return.
We do hope you understand that we need to protect our staff through these unprecedented times and that by working together we can push through this difficult time.

If you have symptoms of coronavirus infection (COVID-19), however mild, stay at home and do not leave your house for 7 days from when your symptoms started. You do not need to call NHS111 to go into self-isolation. If your symptoms worsen during home isolation or are no better after 7 days contact NHS 111 online. If you have no internet access, you should call NHS 111. For a medical emergency dial 999.
Please keep your visits to the surgery to a minimum, if you need to collect a prescription please contact us to arrange delivery to a pharmacy of your choice. If you need to request your medication you can do so over the telephone during this period on 0114 2378877 or 2378800. Many thanks for your continued understanding and support during this time.

There is evidence that wearing a face covering may help stop a person infected with COVID-19 from spreading the virus further. Therefore, in order to help us protect our patients and staff we are asking, if you can, you wear some form of face covering when visiting the practice, even if you do not have symptoms of COVID-19. This can be as simple as a scarf or bandana that ties behind the head. Face coverings should not be used by children under the age of 2 or those who may find it difficult to manage them correctly - for example, those with respiratory conditions. Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.
Our Practice premises have suitable access for people with disabilities and there are designated car parking spaces close to the surgery entrance. Toilet facilities enable wheelchair access and support for disabled people.
